Always excellent

We have stayed at the family run Potamaki Beach Hotel on over twenty occasions during the last eighteen years and have never been disappointed and this June has been no exception. There are two lifts and the rooms are well maintained and scrupulously cleaned every day and the help yourself buffet breakfast caters for all requirements from a bowl of cereal to an English style cooked meal. The staff are all friendly and helpful and there is live entertainment, including Greek Dancing, on three or four evenings per week. The beach is about fifty metres from the hotel and there are fantastic views of mainland Greece from the seaward rooms. Evening meals are available on a similar basis to the breakfast and the thriving village of Benitses has a range of excellent tavernas within easy walking distance of the hotel. There is a regular local bus service to Kerkyra and the airport is about a half hour taxi journey from the Potamaki. We have already booked another return visit for September and look forward to another fantastic holiday.
